Sizing Guide

There is a 6" difference in length between each of the sizes.
There is no difference whatsoever in width or in any other aspect of the slings.
This sizing guide applies to every single Maya Wrap Ring Sling.

Small (Sling measures 67" long)

Under 5'2" and petite and not using the tail as a nursing cover. (You could also get this size if you are under 5'2" and petite & will only use the tail as a nursing cover while carrying a baby under 12 lbs.)

Medium (Sling measures 72-73" long)

Under 5'2" and petite and using the tail as a nursing cover.

OR

Under 5'2" and not petite/5'2" - 5'9" and not using the tail as a nursing cover.

Long (Sling measures 78-79" long)

5'2" - 5'9" and using the tail as a nursing cover.

OR

Above 5'9" and slender/average frame and not using the tail as a nursing cover.

Extra-Long (Sling measures 84-85" long)

Above 5'9" and slender/average frame and using the tail as a nursing cover.

OR

Above 5'9" and large frame.

Just because I like to keep my friends in the know, Maya Wrap is in the process of changing their sizes over to the standards you see in this guide. Temporarily, you may receive a sling that has a different size (S, M, L, XL) tag inside than the size you ordered based on this sizing guide. Rest assured that the actual measured length of the sling will be the measured length you ordered based on this sizing guide. I know this is ridiculously strange, but to put it in their words (from an email to all distributors dated Oct. 20, 2009), "As we transition our inventory, ... you [will] receive some of the old and some of the new sizing." You will receive the measured length you ordered, even if your sling has a different size tag inside. I'm really looking forward to this transition period being over!

Thank you so much for your patience & understanding :)
